Last April 14, students and teachers of Pope Paul VI College and the D-STEM team gathered to kick off the first of our two day workshop. It was the team's first time to visit the college and to meet the students face-to-face, all of whom were keen and excited to start the workshop.

Dr. Jeanne Tan introduced the team and presented core topics surround AI, D-STEM and polymeric optical fibers. Shortly after, Dr Miu Wong commenced the introduced of the Discover and Define stages of the workshop, where students would have the opportunity to explore and to research issues in their daily lives and how AI can be applied to solve these problems.

We are excited to continue our workshop with the students and faculty of Pope Paul VI College in the near future!
