Last July 2, the D-STEM team and the Royal College of Art's (RCA) Laura Salisbury came together to review the ideas of S.K.H. Holy Trinity Church Secondary School students, Over the past few weeks, students were tasked to ideate solutions to real-world challenges via the Discover and Define stages of the workshop, which they presented to the D-STEM team and the RCA tutors.
A wide array of ideas were presented from AI-enabled anti-theft bags, to a smart beds that optimize environmental conditions for better sleep. The D-STEM team and the RCA tutors were impressed by the ideas presented, and the eloquence by which the students presented them.
We are excited to see how the students develop their projects in the coming weeks!
