Last July 6, students of St Catherine's school for girls had their final workshop at the fabrication lab of the Mills Fabrica. Students worked on a variety of innovative ideas from smart drying racks that monitor the dryness and humidity of drying cloths to posture correcting chair accessories.

Dr Jeanne Tan, associate professor of Hong Kong polytechnic university's institute of clothing, along with designer practitioners Claire Miller and Timothy Mueller and Hong Kong design centre's Pansy Ho, commended the great and innovative ideas the students came up with.

As a gift of gratitude, teachers of the girls school presented the DSTEM team with the schools memorabilia.
Located at in the Mills, the Mills Fabrica incubator is a incubation space and fund that enables budding entrepreneurs and designers to innovate in the field of textiles.
